Foster Hydronic Heating Warehouse

Long Contracting was approached by ThreeC Architects for this landmark development through our relationship on previous projects. Delivering this high detailed, purpose-built warehouse, showroom and office space for industry leading hydronic heating and service company. Working closely with the architects and client resulted in a very specific, highly functional space to cater to our client’s needs. Key project risks overcome included: poor ground conditions, corner of busy roads, tram lines, HV power relocations, precast deliveries and dual footpath alignment installations. This building is architecturally stunning, and sure to stop people in the street.

This residence nestles comfortable into the streetscape with subtlety, comprising a modern extension to the rear of the retained and refurbished existing house. Positioned on more than 1,200 square metres, the residence uses biophilic line-of-sight and makes full use of the depth of the property.
The home utilises the existing high ceilings within the front end of the home that houses the bedrooms and master ensuite and bathroom areas, while the rear extension boats a pitch roof to take in the extent of direct sunlight to the north throughout the day and includes the kitchen, dining, living areas and games room/exercise room. Internally, the home wraps around the existing elm tree making it a feature of the architecturally landscaped areas which include BBQ, alfresco and swimming pool. The interiors include an array of wall and floor feature stone, limestone floors throughout the main living areas, feature steel doors and large north facing full height glazing.
